- Speakerphone capability, for the
convenience of hands-free Merlin Legend
phone conversations
- Hands-free answer on intercom (HFAI),
for answering intercom or voice-announced calls
without picking up the handset
- Merlin Legend
Phone System features hold, transfer, and drop
- Conference calling that allows
you to bring up to two internal callers and two
outside callers together in a single conference
call
- A single volume control button,
for adjusting ringer, handset,
and speaker/intercom volumes

Starting with the Merlin Legend R7.0,
you can program your Merlin
Legend MLX phones to block voice announcements when
a user is on
the phone, so the call is not interrupted by an announcement.
The Merlin Legend MLX phones also work with a wide
choice of optional voice mail applications to increase
business productivity and efficiency. A 50-button
Direct Station Selector (DSS) console can be used
to expand the
capabilities of the 20-button and 28-button Merlin
Legend MLX models,
for use by an attendant or operator. And, enhanced
operation with
optional headsets helps further build employee efficiency
and
